Job Title: Learning & Development Advisor – Early Careers and Apprenticeships Contract Type: Permanent Location: Alderley Park Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 23rd June 2025 Learning at Royal London is evolving. Following a full review of our learning model, we’re launching the Royal London Learning Academy and building a new in-house L&D team. Our plans will ensure that we are organised and equipped to support our strategic goals and deliver fully on the empowered development commitment we have made to our colleagues. We’re embracing new tech and modern methods to make learning more accessible, personalised, and future-ready. This is an exciting step in the evolution of learning at Royal London, ensuring colleagues can advance their careers with us and we have the skills we need to deliver our Purpose and strategy. We’re now hiring passionate L&D professionals to help shape this journey. This role plays a key part in designing and managing impactful apprenticeships and supporting early careers programmes that help build a strong, diverse, and professionally skilled colleague base. About the role • Design and deliver apprenticeship and early-career programmes aligned with organisational goals and industry standards. • Coordinate programme logistics, training schedules, and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery. • Act as the main point of contact for apprentices and early-career colleagues, offering guidance and resolving issues. • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including training providers and educational institutions. • Monitor programme effectiveness through feedback, data analysis, and regular reporting to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of programme activities and outcomes. About you • Experienced in L&D, with a strong focus on apprenticeships and early careers. • In-depth knowledge of UK (and ideally Irish) apprenticeship frameworks, funding, and regulatory requirements. • Proven ability to manage end-to-end apprenticeship programmes in large or regulated organisations. • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. • Confident using the UK Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) and working with external training providers. • Curious, commercially aware, and comfortable using data to evaluate programme impact and drive improvements.
