Engineering Supervisor – Canary Wharf
Equans is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Canary Wharf, working for a Blue Chip client.
This is a permanent, full‑time role, 40 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, with ample overtime opportunities.
What you will deliver
* Work within a critical environment where building infrastructure is designed for critical system resilience.
* Supervise a 12‑hour shift team and a 7‑day fabric day team, providing planned and reactive service to the M&E technical infrastructure of the building, consisting of Engineers and Workplace Technicians.
* Provide a safe and healthy environment for all direct report employees.
* Ensure subcontractor planned preventative maintenance is scheduled, recorded, and remedial works actioned to a high standard.
* Deliver projects to customer requirements on time, liaising, when necessary, with the on‑site facilities management team.
* Ensure the regular maintenance of all electrical LV systems is carried out, updating planners as required.
* Ensure efficient and effective operation, maintenance and repair of the site's M&E plant, equipment and services.
* Provide reasonable off‑site support to the shift team outside normal working hours.
* Other reasonable activities as necessary to assist the Account Manager.

Who are you
* Extensive experience in building services, working within financial/critical environments.
* A apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
* Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with a greater emphasis on electrical.
* Knowledge of IET 18th edition.
* Previous LVAP status desirable; training will be provided.
* City & Guilds 2394/2395 or 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection desirable.
This role requires a DBS Basic check; the ability to pass is essential.
