Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £80-120 daily - depending on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Amersham. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support children’s learning and development, working closely with teachers to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment. The successful candidate will help enhance pupils’ educational experience and contribute to their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities
• Work one-to-one or with small groups to support learning needs
• Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour
• Help prepare and organise classroom resources
• Monitor and report on pupils’ progress and wellbeing
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support individual pupils
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Experience working with children in an educational or care setting (desirable but not essential)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, caring, and able to motivate children
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Commitment to supporting pupil development and inclusion
