Cover Supervisor – Fareham
Full Time | Immediate Start | £93 – £140 per day
GSL Education are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in Fareham. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting young people’s education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will supervise whole classes, deliver pre-prepared work, and ensure a calm, productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans to classes across a range of subjects.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Ensure students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
* Support pupils with questions and encourage independent learning.
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience in a school setting or working with young people (desirable).
* Be confident, adaptable, and able to manage groups effectively.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Show enthusiasm for supporting young people’s learning and development.
* Be seeking to gain classroom experience, potentially as a pathway into teaching.
