Job Description
Job Duties:
1. Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained
2. Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
3. Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and security systems
4. Manage waste disposal and recycling processes
5. Assist with setting up for events and activities
Required Qualifications:
6. Previous experience in a similar role
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Good communication skills
Education:
10. GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Experience:
11. Experience in caretaking or facilities management
Knowledge and Skills:
12. Understanding of basic maintenance tasks
13. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
14. Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
15. First Aid certification
16. Health and Safety training
Working Conditions:
17. Flexible working hours
18. Physical work may be required
19. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
20. Occasional weekend or evening work
