CAD / Project Co-ordinator
Location: Based in Crewe, near Woore.

We are seeking a CAD / Project Co-ordinator to strengthen our design and project delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys working on engineering projects from concept through to completion, combining CAD design, procurement, and project coordination.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Projects Manager, you will be responsible for producing 2D AutoCAD drawings, compiling parts lists, sourcing materials, and supporting the delivery of engineering projects. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget, working closely with colleagues across design, procurement, and project management. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Support: Create and maintain accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings for project requirements.
Project Coordination: Assist in managing projects from design to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Procurement: Generate parts lists, source materials and equipment, and liaise with suppliers.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and provide updates on project progress.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (essential).
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Confident liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Education and Experience:
Experience in a CAD, design, or project coordination role desirable.
Background in engineering or manufacturing environments beneficial.
Strong IT and organisational skills.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary from £26,000 £27,500 depending on experience.
