Overview
Position: Support Worker – Dartford. Salary: £13.45 per hour. Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Shifts: 07:00–14:30 / 14:30–22:00 (5 shifts a week; mix of both times).
Role and Responsibilities
As a Day Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in empowering the people we support to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting individuals with personal care routines, where required
* Assisting with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
* Encouraging participation in hobbies and community outings
* Promoting independence, dignity, and choice in every interaction
* Supporting with medication and health-related tasks
* Helping individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate achievements
* Maintaining accurate documentation and handover notes
You’ll be working with individuals who enjoy a range of activities—from baking and gardening to arts and crafts and social events. Your support will help them thrive during the day and feel confident in their routines.
About Lifeways: Lifeways supports individuals with diverse needs including mental health, autism, and learning difficulties. The service provides 24-hour care and promotes independence through person-centred support.
