We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated Deputy Headteacher to play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership and management of Peterston super Ely Church in Wales Primary School. Working closely with the Headteacher, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to shaping the vision, direction, and future success of our school.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Headteacher, Governors, staff and the wider community to lead the school into the next stage of its development.
* Support and develop high‑quality teaching and learning across the curriculum.
* Provide leadership around curriculum planning and delivery, showing measurable impact on standards of learning and teaching.
* Ensure pastoral care and a supportive Christian environment that promotes pupil well‑being.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified teacher status.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of what constitutes excellent teaching and how to implement it.
* Significant recent experience as a senior leader in a primary school.
* Clear understanding of the school’s distinctive Christian character and context.
* Proven experience of curriculum leadership demonstrating measurable improvement in learning outcomes.
