Key Responsibilities
* Structural Analysis and Design:
* Perform detailed structural analyses for Oil&Gas assets using ANSYS or similar software.
* Modelling and Simulations:
* Create 3D finite element models (FEM) for complex marine structures.
* Evaluate the effects of dynamic loads, such as wind, wave, and current forces.
* Code Compliance:
* Ensure designs meet relevant offshore codes and standards
* Prepare documentation, calculations, and reports for client review and certification.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Project engineer naval architects, mechanical engineers, and installation leads.
* Attend client and project meetings to provide technical input and ensure project alignment.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
* Proficiency in structural analysis software, particularly ANSYS
* Proficient with design codes such as DNV, ABS,API, AISC and Eurocode.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
