Ideally the successful candidate for this vacancy will be based in or around the Reading region or similar to cover works as part of a southern team. This position is on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the job travel will be required to customer sites within a provided region. As this is an integral role for our client you would be a key representative on-site and require excellent customer facing skills. Job Specification Diagnosis and rectification of EPoS, Networking, and IT issues. IMAC Install, Move, Add and Change of EPoS, IT & Networking devices. Project work including AV, Digital Signage and Customer Rollouts. Providing on-site support services on EPoS, I.T. and Network/Comms infrastructure, hardware, and software. Working with your line management to ensure that your local spares holdings are always sufficient to ensure that you can achieve first time fix resolutions in the vast majority of site visits. Working with other members of your team to ensure that regional SLA targets are consistently achieved, and that customers satisfaction levels are consistently high. Representing the company to the highest possible standards at all times by taking pride in your work and pride in delivering truly outstanding levels of customer service. Manage your workload to achieve the SLA's in the most efficient way possible. Personal Specification Excellent communication and customer support skills. Should have the ability to work together as part of a team as well as being able to solve problems independently. Good electrical background within the epos, IT, networking sector or similar. Will be able to work to work under pressure. Presentable. Flexible on working weekends with days in lieu provided. Additional Information Core hours Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30. Overtime i. Before 08:30 & after 6pm Mon-Fri 1.5 times hourly rate. ii. All day Saturday 1.5 times hourly rate iii. Sundays & Bank Holidays 2 x hourly rate Standby rota for weekends (currently 1 in 4), standby allowance paid, then overtime if called out.
