We are expanding our team and have a new opportunity for an experienced fencing and landscaping fitter to join us.
Established over 20 years ago, Maydays Estate Services Ltd is a family-run business covering all aspects of Fencing and Landscaping across the southeast of England. We work with both commercial and residential customers.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individuals to join our business who have previous experience in fencing and/or landscaping. The successful candidate must be able to always display professional and friendly attitude and be a team player.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to undertake a crucial role within our progressive business. This is a rewarding role which would suit a friendly, energised and motivated individual.
This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
Duties:
* Understanding of fencing specifications and knowledge of landscaping installation techniques.
* Working from architect's drawings
* Preparation works, digging holes and trenches in line with where the fencing will be positioned.
* Joining and building different types of fencing
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects.
* Transporting of materials and accepting deliveries and dealing with queries
* Working to deadlines and managing time effectively
* Keeping your vehicle and all tools clean and well maintained
Essential
* Must be a team player and reliable.
* A full driving licence.
* Knowledge and experience in a variety of fencing and landscaping systems.
Preferred but not essential
* Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
* CSCS (training can be provided).
* General building experience
