FTC Veterinary Surgeon - Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital, Stevenage
A rare opportunity has opened up for a Veterinary Surgeon for a 3-month Fixed Term Contract at Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital.
This role would be full-time, but we are happy to consider part-time applications, along with a share in the 1:6 Saturday rota for 3 months from September to December 2025. Salary up to £55k FTE depending on experience.
Due to our flexible approach to rota patterns this vacancy is suitable to both full-time, part-time and even consult only applicants. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance.
The role can vary depending on your interests however the general caseload at present is 50% consults and 50% surgery. With no OOH or on-call requirements giving you a great work life balance.

Responsibilities
* Fill a 3-month Fixed Term Contract as a Veterinary Surgeon.
* Work full-time, or part-time as agreed, with a share in the 1:6 Saturday rota for September to December 2025.
* Manage a caseload that is approximately 50% consults and 50% surgery.
* Operate with no OOH or on-call requirements.
* Contribute to a flexible rota pattern to support balance between work and personal commitments.
