The Oxford neuromuscular clinical service is a regional service supporting five surrounding counties and is one of the three nationally commissioned NHS Highly Specialised Services for Rare Mitochondrial Disease. These services are split between adults and paediatrics and both teams work closely and collaboratively to provide a seamless transition of care.
