The Role
The firm is looking to appoint a Transactional IP Solicitor (4-8 PQE) to join a growing legal team based in London. This is a hands on role offering immediate exposure to a wide range of transactional matters, with the opportunity to work closely with partners and colleagues across the business. The position would suit someone who enjoys drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and who wants to build a long term career specialising in IP focused transactional work. Key responsibilities
* Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial and IP related agreements
* Advising on licensing, collaboration and technology transfer arrangements
* Providing commercial and strategic advice in relation to IP assets
* Supporting partners on complex and high value transactional matters
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
* 4-8 PQE
* Experience in transactional work within IP, commercial, IT or data protection
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Commercially minded with a practical approach to problem solving
* Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively with senior stakeholders
* A collaborative approach and strong communication skills
