Your Impact
Below are the responsibilities you will take ownership of:
* End‑to‑End Ownership: Leading projects from initial concept and drafting technical specifications through to execution and final acceptance.
* Strategic Procurement: Draft RFQs (Requests for Quotation) for OEMs and specialised contractor partners.
* Engineering Excellence: Ensure every phase of the 3.2 mt Electric Arc Furnace meets rigorous safety, environmental, and design standards.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as a company ambassador, liaising between internal teams and external global partners to keep the project on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience: Proven track record within the Heavy Industry sector.
* Technical Edge: High level of competency in Electrical Engineering disciplines.
* Education: Degree in Engineering preferred; Chartered Engineer status significant advantage.
* Project Mindset: Solid understanding of project management techniques, risk assessment, and safety studies (e.g., HAZOP/LOPA).
* Soft Skills: Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and the communication skills required to represent a global brand to external stakeholders.
