Accountable To: Finance Director
Job Purpose:
Responsible for entering and ensuring the accuracy of Steve Hoskin Construction Ltd financial records. Creates transactions in the company ledger and makes entries into the company’s accounting software.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the BACS and Chaps Payment Process
* Support the Accounts Clerks in ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed and coded correctly on SHC Systems.
* Assist the Company Accountant as required in the year-end statutory reporting process, which involves producing statutory financial statements for audit and for submission to Companies House.
* Complete any Office of National Statistics surveys
* Produce ad-hoc reports as and when required
* Ensure that all accounts activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
* Prepare VAT submission for review by the Company Accountant
* Prepare and submit our Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) monthly deductions
* Review fuel card submissions and provide details to the Company Accountant for monthly deductions
* Month end journals
* Assist the Company Accountant in maintaining our company fixed asset register
* Maintain suppliers master data

* Purchasing Manager
* All SHC employees outside of Headquarters
Salary: £15.50 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
