Job Description
As a central point of contact for staff, couriers, and visitors, you will play a vital role in managing incoming and outgoing mail, supporting logistics, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, professional environment where attention to detail, organisation, and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries.
2. Manage outgoing mail, including franking and courier bookings (e.g. DHL, FedEx).
3. Carry out scheduled internal mail runs across the building.
4. Act as a professional ambassador, engaging with staff, couriers, and visitors.
5. Handle enquiries regarding deliveries, tracking, and postal services.
6. Support loading bay activity, including handling large or palletised goods.
7. Operate equipment such as forklift trucks (where required).
8. Follow strict security protocols, including mail screening and handling sensitive items.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Experience in a customer-facing or corporate environment.
10. Experience in mailroom, logistics, or facilities services.
11. Strong communication skills and a professional, front-of-house approach.
12. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
13. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational setting.
14. Forklift Truck Licence (or willingness to obtain).
15. Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS and SC security clearance.
