This is a senior leadership support role, responsible for ensuring the estate operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standard across academic buildings, boarding houses, sports facilities, and grounds.
The Role
As Estates Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational and strategic oversight of the school’s estate.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing the estates and facilities team
* Overseeing planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, fire safety, and statutory regulations
* Managing capital projects and long-term estates development plans
* Supervising contractors and monitoring quality of works
* Managing estates budgets, procurement, and cost control
* Supporting the smooth 24/7 operation of boarding facilities
You will work closely with the Head and Senior Leadership Team to align estates planning with the school’s strategic vision.

* Proven experience as an Estates Manager, Facilities Manager, or senior premises professional
* Strong knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and statutory requirements
* Experience managing large, multi-building sites
