Position: Children’s Support Worker
Part-Time: One Saturday morning every month (9:15am – 1:30pm)
Salary: £11.93- £12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay)
We are expanding our services to Milton Keynes and are seeking motivated and enthusiastic support workers to join our team. Our service provides high-quality care and assistance to children and young people to help them achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

Our Service
Stay & Play is a Saturday morning activity group for autistic children aged 3-12 years and their families. The sessions provide a safe and inclusive environment with activities including soft play, arts & crafts, cooking, sensory play and outdoor activities. We also aim to provide parents/carers with a short break during the session whilst their child is supported by trained staff and volunteers.
About you
* Experience of Health/Education/Social Care Roles.
* Experience of Managing Challenging Behaviour.
* Knowledge of Autism.
* Knowledge of Asperger’s Syndrome.
* GCSEs or Equivalent Qualifications.
* Health/Education/Social Care Qualifications (Level 3).

* Support children who have varying social, emotional, and sensory needs
* Support and promoting safeguarding practices.
* Support children to access and engage with different activities
* Assisting in setting up safe areas for activities
* Promoting social and communication development
