As a Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess cases of individuals applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This involves conducting consultations and preparing fair, accurate reports.
Position Details:
* Salary: £44,000.00
* Type: Permanent
* Full-time: 40 hours/week
In this role, you will interview claimants to understand their challenges and assess how their condition impacts daily activities through various means, including telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments, always in a respectful and non-biased manner.
Requirements include:
* A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a qualified healthcare professional (Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics)
* Broad clinical knowledge
* Competency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office
Essential qualifications (applications without these will not be considered):
* Nurses: Qualified Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN)
* Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists: Chartered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, Member of HCPC, MCSP or COT
