About the Role
We are looking for either:
* a qualified Environmental Health Professional to work in the Environmental Health and Safer Places team (largely Environmental Protection) - you will be investigating commercial noise complaints, assessing new development proposals for EP related issues, leading on a small number of Permitted premises and a range of other cases OR
* a Graduate EH Specialist; you would be someone who is well on the way to completing a relevant qualification or is ready to work on their CIEH portfolio to, hopefully, join as an EHP when fully registered. In the Graduate role you will be working on similar cases to the EHO but will also be being supported to gain experience in other EH teams to complete your training.
About You
The ideal EHO candidate will have:
* A degree, diploma or other relevant qualification in Environmental Health and be registered with the EHRB or as a Registered/Chartered EHP
* Experience in working within Environmental Protection
* Knowledge of EP related legislation and its application
* Good IT skills and ability to manage a diverse workload effectively
See the online application page for full details for the Graduate opportunity.
