Our team in Truro is looking for two Recovery Workers to provide high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. We are a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, operating over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to over 100,000 people annually. Find out more about us here.
As we do not hold a sponsorship license, candidates must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract.
We work with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people as part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service. Successful candidates will work within the adult community team, alongside outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice, and residential rehabilitation services.

About the role
As a Recovery Worker, you will support clients in identifying their goals, creating tailored treatment plans, and guiding them on their recovery journey. This frontline role involves care continuity through partnership working, care coordination, and intervention delivery. You will manage an active caseload, engage with clients promptly, and treat everyone with respect and dignity.
What we’re looking for
We seek compassionate, motivated individuals capable of building meaningful relationships. Experience in health, social care, criminal justice, or related fields, especially with substance misuse issues, is preferred. You should be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and work effectively as part of a team. A positive, engaging approach and passion for our mission are essential.

This role requires working one Saturday per month, 9am-5pm, with hours to be compensated during the week.
