Risk and Compliance Manager
Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Firm: Legal 500 Law Firm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Risk and Compliance Manager to join a respected Legal 500 firm based in Cambridgeshire. This is a key role, offering scope to influence firm-wide policy, promote best practices, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance in a supportive, forward-thinking environment
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the firm’s compliance and risk management framework
* Ensure adherence to SRA regulations, AML requirements, GDPR, and Lexcel standards
* Manage internal audits, file reviews, and regulatory reporting
* Support or liaise with the COLP/MLRO functions
* Provide training and guidance to staff across the firm
* Keep abreast of regulatory changes and adapt firm policies accordingly
* Contribute to the firm’s approach to business continuity and professional accreditations
About You
* Proven experience in legal compliance or risk management, ideally within a law firm
* Strong working knowledge of SRA, AML, and data protection regulations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Experience with Lexcel or similar standards is a plus
