Manpower UK is currently looking for a maintenance electrician for our of our trusted partnners.Position Overviewyou will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for issues on site. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesInstalls, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.Diagnoses electrical problems using specialized tools and equipment.Ensures all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Collaborates with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals.Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures.Maintains accurate records of work performed and materials used.Provides guidance and training to apprentices or junior electricians as needed.Responds promptly to emergency electrical issues and provides timely solutions.QualificationsProven experience as an electrician or in a similar role.Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training.Holds a valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.Demonstrates strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols.Proficient with electrical tools and equipment.Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.Maintains good physical condition and can work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.reach out to hugh.roke@manpower.co.uk for more information.
