Pay & Hours
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £13.70 an hour and rises to £14.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer new colleagues a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week, with a minimum of 12 hours available for those who wish to work fewer hours.
Availability Window
We require you to be available within the following time blocks: Sun 10:00–16:00, Fri 16:00–20:00, Sat 12:00–20:00. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these windows and you will receive three weeks’ notice of your exact shifts. We are flexible if your availability matches closely.

Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies.
* Applying technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Engaging with customers, providing information in a confident, friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience.
* Offering information on common ailments, symptoms and over‑the‑counter products.
* Understanding customer needs, explaining product benefits and selling appropriate items.
* Advising customers on the range of pharmacy services available.
* Supporting and delivering pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within your competence.
* Responding to customer queries regarding prescription medicines and informing the pharmacist of any complaints.
* Ensuring all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
* Keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean, tidy and free of clutter.
* Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
* Promoting company initiatives and promotional activities within the team.
* Carrying out all procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the pharmacy field.
