Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager &Preschool Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As the Preschool Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our students while managing a team of educators.
Duties
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
* Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
* Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and the community to foster positive relationships.
* Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children to learn and play.
* Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education within the nursery.
* Be a member of the senior leadership team and be a DSL.
Skills
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
* Ability to manage a team effectively while demonstrating leadership qualities.
* Knowledge of nursery operations and best practices in early childhood education.
* Experience working with children, understanding their needs, behaviours, and developmental milestones.
* A valid driving licence may be required for certain responsibilities related to the role.
