Job Summary
Permanent position within our friendly pharmacy department for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the preparation of CIVAs, cytotoxic medicine and TPN in the aseptic unit.
* Assist in ensuring the cleaning and monitoring of the suite is maintained at an appropriate level.
* Contribute to the dispensing of prescription items for in-patients, some out-patients and discharge requests in the dispensary.
* Provide support to the medicines management service including patient own drug usage schemes.
* Monthly rotation with Dispensary and Aseptics, along with Medicines Management and ward cover when necessary.
Qualifications & Training
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Accuracy Checking Qualification, or willing to work towards the qualification.
Essential Experience
* Worked as a technician or trainee technician in a pharmacy.
Desirable Experience
* Hospital Pharmacy experience.
* IT qualification.
* Aseptic training.
* Ward pharmacy services.
* Paediatric pharmacy experience.
* Accuracy checking.
* Used to using CMM pharmacy system.

Benefits & Pay
Band 4 – £27,485 to £30,162 per annum.
Permanent contract – Full‑time.
