Description Strategic Product Owner Location : Skipton, UK (Hybrid) In this position, you’ll be based in the Skipton office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. We give you a world of potential As our Strategic Product Owner, you’ll shape the future growth of our Buy to Let brand, Zephyr Homeloans, by leading the development and launch of new mortgage origination technology to be used by intermediaries. In this fast-paced, influential role, you’ll have significant accountability and be well-supported, whilst you collaborate with the Head of New Lending, the supplier, and the wider business, to ensure the new technology meets the needs of Zephyr and our mortgage intermediary customers. You will have the opportunity to excel and use agile methodologies, making critical determinations and interacting with all our stakeholders. In this exciting new role, you’ll have the benefit of working from home and utilising our new office in the centre of Skipton, North Yorkshire. You will also visit sites/suppliers/events in Yorkshire (particularly Leeds) and occasionally to another of our offices near Durham. During the product’s 12-18 month implementation period, we anticipate you will be at home approximately 50% of the time, after which it will increase to 85%. New technology is a critical part of this, so you will champion the product’s long-term vision and strategy, advocating it for both customers and the business. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders and customers, making tactical judgements that establish Zephyr's strategic vision and drive growth through continuous improvements. What will you bring to the role? We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual, with specialist knowledge of mortgage originations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the development and implementation of systems.
