What it takes You will have a good understanding of food processing or manufacturing. Demonstrate a good standard of English reading, numerical & verbal communication skills; and be physically capable of meeting the demands of the role. Achieved 'Essential Skills qualification' or minimum 3 GCSEs at pass rate. Demonstrate ability to lead a team. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Enhanced criteria Experience within food manufacturing at a management level. Understanding of GMP. The role Our Supervisor Programme is designed to build capability by combining hands-on operational experience with tailored leadership and management development. As part of the programme, you will gain a full understanding of every workflow within the Mixing Room operations, including spice recipe preparation, meat inspection, material handling, bowl machine operation, and production processes. Alongside developing your technical expertise, you will also build the people-management skills needed to lead, motivate, and support a high-performing team as a Supervisor at Finnebrogue. Upon successful completion of the 12-week training programme, you will become a Level 2 Supervisor and receive a skilled competency pay uplift. You will be capable of working across multiple areas within a mixing room facility and understand how each part of the operation works together to deliver high standards safely, efficiently, and collaboratively.
