Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a proven track record of inspiring students to achieve their full potential. This role involves teaching Maths to students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contributing to the development of the Maths curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Provide a stimulating classroom environment that promotes independent learning.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and professional development activities.
* Support and contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
