We partner with retailers and distributors to develop innovative branded and own-brand products that align with strong sustainability values and commercial success.
Role Overview
We have recently grown in size, and we are seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented Account Manager to help develop and grow sales with our existing customers and private label product portfolio. This is a hands-on role combining product development, client relationship management, and sales growth initiatives within a dynamic SME environment.
The role will be full time, 38.5 hours per week, based in Hull.
Key Responsibilities
* End to end account management including regular customer meetings, promotional planning, product range reviews and NPD launches.
* Act as the primary point of contact for your customer portfolio
* Manage and nurture customer relationships to drive retention and growth
* Identifying and driving growth opportunities for existing product range and NPD
* Prepare sales analysis & monthly sales reports.
* Maintaining CRM system
* Represent Bio-D at industry trade shows and customer events.
Accountability for outputs of:
* Achievement of revenue and profit targets across your accounts
* Successful distribution of new product launches
* Delivery of accurate reporting and high-quality customer support.
* Contribution to strong customer retention and growth.

Skills and experience
Essential
* Experience in Account Management, Sales or a commercial support role, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing or private label.
* Comfortable working in an SME environment where flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving are essential.
* Confident using Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Experience using CRM system
Desirable
* Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Knowledge of retail or distributor commercial processes (promotions, forecasts, pricing, category reviews).
