As our Business Manager – Marc Jacobs, you have full accountability for delivering sales objectives while protecting the distinctive DNA of the brand. You lead and motivate your team, set the standard for execution and artistry, and ensure the counter performs at the highest level every day.
You will be reporting to the Area Manager, and you will manage:
Sales Performance & Customer Experience
1. Coach and motivate the team to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
2. Fairly distribute targets daily, weekly, and monthly
3. Deliver Coty’s customer service ceremony with every customer interaction
4. Build strong customer relationships through confident storytelling and influence
5. Consistently drive upsell while maintaining a premium Marc Jacobs experience
6. Perform elevated make‑up and skin consultations to drive loyalty and conversion
Excellence of Execution
7. Lead by example as a Marc Jacobs brand ambassador, protecting brand equity at all times
8. Stay up to date with We Live Beauty and mandatory Coty Academy training
9. Execute merchandising guidelines across permanent and promotional space
10. Maintain strong commercial awareness of Coty performance, competitors, and market share
11. Plan and deliver customer eventing aligned with brand identity
12. Complete month‑end, payroll, and feedback processes accurately and on time
13. Ensure adherence to uniform, grooming, and retailer Code of Conduct standards
14. Escalate any risks or issues promptly to the Area Manager
Team Leadership & Collaboration
15. Take full ownership of team performance, engagement, and development
16. Build strong working relationships with the Coty in‑store team
17. Manage and welcome agency staff as part of the wider team
18. Develop effective partnerships with mobile consultants
19. Grow networks across the wider Coty team within your area
20. Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Area Manager
21. Build trusted relationships with retailer staff and store management
22. Support ad‑hoc mentoring of new managers to the business
Technical Processes
23. Use iPad tools for reporting, communication, and VM guidelines
24. Maintain secure control of iPads and Coty passwords for self and team
25. Ensure consistent and correct use of Coty systems and online documentation
