The Role As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience across departments – assisting administrative tasks, document control, data management and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to build core business skills in a fast-paced, infrastructure-focussed environment, whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification. The Person * Strong attention to detail – essential for handling documentation, data entry, and compliance tasks. * Good communication skills – both verbal and written, to liaise with colleagues, clients, and suppliers effectively. * Organised and reliable – able to manage time, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a structured environment. * Willingness to learn – a proactive attitude towards gaining new skills and taking on responsibility. * Problem-solving mindset – able to think critically and support process improvements where possible. * Professionalism – demonstrates a positive attitude, confidentiality, and respect in the workplace. * Team player – works well with others and contributes to a collaborative team culture. * Adaptability – comfortable with changing priorities and able to work across different departments. * Basic IT literacy – familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel). * Interest in the industry – a curiosity about how infrastructure and utility businesses operate adds value and context to their learning.
