Business Development Manager – Occupational Health
Remote (Ideally Midlands) travel required
An established and growing provider of Occupational Health services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding a well-respected business with a strong presence in the sector.
About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving growth across the UK. You'll identify new opportunities, foster strong client relationships, and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to a diverse client base.
This role offers the flexibility of remote working while requiring frequent travel to client sites, industry events, and internal meetings nationwide.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
Develop and execute business development and sales strategies
Lead the preparation of tailored proposals and bids
Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Track market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning
Maintain accurate records using CRM tools and provide regular performance updates
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within occ upational health, healthcare, or a related field
A solid understanding of occupational health services and UK regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong organisational abilities with a self-starting, results-driven approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
A full UK driving licence is essential
Desirable Qualifications:
A degree in business, health sciences, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential
