Role - NOC Engineer
Location - Staffordshire (Hybrid)

I’m looking for a motivated Associate NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Centre.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid 2nd line experience who’s ready to step up, develop their technical skills, and support the stability and performance of our clients’ systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor services through our RMM platform and escalate alerts appropriately
* Support tuning and optimisation of monitoring and alerting
* Assist with managing backups, resolving failures, and completing restores
* Help maintain patching schedules for servers and end-user devices
* Support firmware/software updates and infrastructure maintenance
* Monitor storage solutions and contribute to monthly reporting
* Update documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
* Assist with network security, certificates, and firewall changes
* Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients
Skills required:
* Strong knowledge of Windows desktop/server environments
* Good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and SAN basics
* Experience with AD, GPOs, Exchange, O365, RDS/Citrix
* Familiarity with backup solutions, DNS/DHCP, and PowerShell
* 2–3 years’ IT support experience (2nd line level desirable)
* A-Level education or equivalent
Desirable: MCSA, MSCE, CCNA, CompTIA
