Learning Support Assistant — West Sussex County Council. Location: Thomas Bennett Community College, West Sussex.
Salary: £18,114 per year. Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8:30–3:00.
Thomas Bennett Community College has a large Learning Inclusion Team that supports our diverse school population by offering in-class or small group interventions. The school provides for up to 20 students with a diagnosis of ASC or other Social Communication Needs. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to work with our students across all areas of need. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in developing a therapeutic response to educational inclusion and furthering their skills. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working with young people and will demonstrate a creative attitude to removing barriers to learning.
