The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and drive the growth of the firm's Family Law presence in Southampton and across the South Coast. As a Family Partner, you will have full autonomy over your caseload, direct access to senior leadership, and ample career progression opportunities within a powerhouse national Family team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and drive the growth of the Family Law department in Southampton.
2. Manage a diverse and complex caseload of privately funded family matters, including high-value, intricate cases.
3. Provide strategic leadership by supervising and mentoring junior team members, cultivating a strong and cohesive department.
4. Build and maintain long-term client relationships, offering empathetic, professional guidance on sensitive family matters.
5. Drive business development efforts, leveraging your established presence and network in the South East region.
Requirements
6. You are an experienced Family Solicitor with 8+ years PQE gained in a similar environment.
7. Proven ability to handle complex and high-value family cases with technical expertise and commercial insight.
8. Strong leadership skills, with significant experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
9. A track record of successful business development and managing client relationships-client following is essential.
