Hours: 37.5 | 9:00 am – 5:30 pm – Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities (2 days working from home and 3 days in our modern office close to East Croydon Station)

Overview
The Online & Distribution finance team is part of the wider Commercial Finance group, which also includes Trading Finance, Healthcare Finance, Retail Finance, Procurement and Property & Investments Finance. This role supports Warehouse and Distribution within the Online & Distribution Commercial Finance team, providing financial analysis and support to senior stakeholders such as the Supply Chain Director, Finance Director, CEO, MD of Savers and the Warehouse and Transport Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership of month‑end processes in relation to Warehouse & Distribution, including calculation and posting of accruals & prepayments
* Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations ensuring they are completed with a high degree of accuracy
* Manage fleet related costs, including IFRS16 lease accounting and reconciliations
* Perform financial reconciliation work to ensure integrity between month‑end costs and those reported in operational trackers
* Lead weekly cost calls with DC and Warehouse teams
* Conduct contract spend analysis to support investment decisions and track quarterly contract spend vs plan
* Carry out ad‑hoc analysis as required
Person Specification
* Part‑qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or a relevant university degree (Accounting & Finance, Economics, Maths) with a minimum of 2:1 grade
* Experience using Excel
* Diligent with attention to detail, self‑motivated & enthusiastic
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
* Strong communication and time‑management skills
* Ability to develop strong working relationships across the business, including with non‑finance customers and third‑party providers
