We are currently seeking experienced cashiers for our Harrods Concessions who will support the Sales team, understand and effectively follow all point of sale procedures Customer Compliance, Till procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Take all steps to ensure transactions are processed accurately and securely
2. Manage the end of day cashing up process and ensure the till transactions reconcile
3. Report any errors of discrepancies to a member of management immediately
4. Follow card and cash handling policies and procedures at all times
5. Treat all customer data with the upmost confidentiality and sensitivity
6. Ensure all clients receive the highest standards of customer service
7. Demonstrate excellent product and range knowledge
8. Attend team meetings and make a positive contribution to discussion
9. Support where required in supporting the team to maximise the boutique’s performance
10. Support the management and the rest of the cashier team
11. Carry out any additional duties as directed by the Management Team
Till
12. Support Cashier team with any cash handling and ensure card and cash policies and procedures are adhered at all times
13. Support daily operations at till points and participate in cashing up
14. Process all invoices, credit notes and repairs paperwork, ensuring all costs are accurate and a precise record kept
15. Take all steps to ensure transactions are processed accurately and securely
16. Manage the end of day cashing up process and ensure the till transactions reconcile by end of the day.
17. Report any errors of discrepancies to a member of management immediately
18. Ensure the tills are cashed end of the day
19. Send the figures on a daily basis
Administrative responsibilities:
20. Support the Stock team on administrative tasks and any other further tasks and developments
21. Clients returns/exchanges/repairs
22. Organizing cash/till procedure training for all the staff
Service/CDM
23. Ensure all clients receive the highest standards of customer service
24. Demonstrate excellent product and range knowledge
25. Act as a support for CDM by ensuring that the client database is properly updated
26. Treat all customer data with the upmost confidentiality and sensitivity
Profile
27. Previous experience as a Cashier
28. Excellent accuracy and attention to details
29. Computer literate with strong numerical skills
30. Reliable, committed and self-motived
31. Team player
