The role is offering a salary of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum.
* Diagnosis and Treatment: Examine animals, diagnose illnesses, and provide appropriate treatments or medications.
* Surgery: Perform routine and emergency surgeries, such as spaying, neutering, or repairing injuries.
* Preventive Care: Administer vaccinations, provide parasite control, and offer health advice to pet owners.
* Animal Welfare: Ensure the well-being of animals by promoting responsible pet ownership and addressing health or welfare concerns.
* Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of treatments, surgeries, and patient progress.
What we’re looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants:
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
* Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
* Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
* Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
* Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
