EQUANS is looking for a Minor Works Administrator to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Minor Works Administrator will be a member of the commercial team supporting the operational team within the HMCTS contract where EQUANS complete minor/billable works. They will provide support with quoting for these works using a schedule of rates with a focus on profit improvement along with focus on compliance. In addition, they will be required to support with obtaining quotes from sub-contractors, and liaising with operational teams to close out jobs on the CAFM system when complete.
The Minor Works Administrator will be required to interact with managers of all levels both internally and within our Client organisations. Good communication skills are essential in fulfilling this role.
What will you deliver?
1. Identify, monitor and report on risks
2. Support the management of Work in Progress (WIP) and its impacts on billing
3. Support governance within the contracts to ensure that the requirements of the contract and EQUANSs own internal governance processes are being complied with
4. Aid the quality of service by ensuring awareness of contractual responsibilities among all other EQUANS colleagues (including contract deliverables, scope of services etc.)
5. Enforce commercial compliance (by audit and support against EQUANSs Minimum Commercial Standards)
6. Support the Commercial team in the satisfaction of contract and company objectives
7. Ensure all applicable jobs have quotes attached to them and are approved by the client before we carry out any works on site
8. Work within the operating environment to ensure EQUANSs Code of Conduct is thoroughly understood, adhered to and promoted across the business to ensure safe, compliant and consistent working practices.

Who are we looking for?
20. Suitable commercial/ administrator experience within a similar industry sector
21. Excellent communicator
22. A foundation level understanding of risk analysis/management
23. PC Literate with knowledge of MS applications e.g. Word, Excel.
