Administrative Assistant
Location: Ledbury (with one day of travel to a nearby office)
Contract: Permanent, part-time (3 days per week, 9am–5pm)
Start Date: ASAP
Do you have the professionalism and people skills to keep everything running seamlessly? At Redkite Solicitors, we're seeking a confident and dependable Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our busy Ledbury office.
As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, you'll create a lasting positive impression while managing a wide variety of essential administrative tasks. From supporting fee earners with documents and scheduling, to overseeing reception, coordinating meetings, and keeping the office organised, you'll play a key role in the smooth daily operations of a thriving legal team.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being helpful and professional, and takes pride in making things run like clockwork, this is the role for you. You'll be joining a supportive and high-performing team where your organisation, professionalism, and positive energy will be truly valued.
With a proud history of supporting individuals, families, and businesses since 1898, Redkite Solicitors combines strong foundations with a modern outlook — growing while staying true to our values of integrity, approachability, and exceptional client care.
What will you be doing?
* Act as the professional and welcoming first point of contact for all clients, visitors, and callers — representing the firm with warmth, discretion, and polish
* Provide high-quality administrative support to fee earners and office staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
* Open new client files and manage document preparation, digital filing, scanning, and secure archiving in line with compliance standards
* Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, post, and deliveries — routing communications efficiently and supporting daily workflow
* Maintain the reception and office areas to an impeccable standard — tidy, well-stocked, and ready to host both internal and external visitors
* Provide a concierge-style service to internal stakeholders, including meeting room management, greeting guests, and supporting events or executive visits
* Assist in maintaining office supplies, coordinating replenishment orders, and liaising with facilities when needed
* Support colleagues in other offices remotely, contributing to a collaborative and connected working environment
* Occasionally assist with the movement and organisation of archived files or interdepartmental transfers
Who We're Looking For:
* Warm and polished – you naturally put people at ease while upholding a professional standard in all client and visitor interactions
* Willing to travel occasionally between local offices —a full driving licence is required for this role
* Highly organised – you keep on top of multiple tasks, manage competing demands, and keep the front desk and wider office environment running like clockwork
* A dependable team player – you're someone your colleagues can count on to deliver, step in to help, and take ownership of what needs doing
* Discreet and professional – you're trusted with sensitive information and interactions, always handling them with care and confidentiality
* Clear and confident in communication – whether in person, on the phone, or over email, you speak and write with clarity, courtesy, and purpose
* Service-minded – you enjoy looking after others, whether that's ensuring guests feel welcomed, keeping executives updated, or making sure fee earners have what they need to do their job well
* Comfortable with technology – confident using phones, Microsoft Office, booking systems, and any digital tools that support daily admin and communication tasks
* Committed to presentation – you understand the importance of a tidy, welcoming, and professional space as a reflection of the business
What is in it for you?
We're committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing legal team. You'll be joining colleagues who are not only legally excellent but also commercially astute and down-to-earth. We value trust, boldness, excellence and teamwork — and we want you to thrive as part of that.
* 25 days min annual leave entitlement. (Option to purchase additional days)
* Life Assurance
* Contributions to gym membership
* Career development
* Redkite rewards scheme
