Customer/Account Manager | £45,000 - £50,000 | Watford, Hertfordshire (Hybrid)
My client, a well‑established organisation within the commercial sector, is seeking a Customer/Account Manager to support and grow a varied portfolio of existing accounts. This role focuses on relationship management, commercial delivery, and providing high‑quality support to a diverse group of clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring strong engagement, service quality, and retention
* Drive commercial performance by meeting agreed revenue goals and identifying opportunities to expand current contracts
* Promote the organisation’s full range of insight‑based and consultancy solutions to maximise client value
* Maintain accurate forecasting and sales pipeline tracking to support wider business planning
* Deliver online and face‑to‑face presentations to showcase products, insights, and new service offerings
* Provide meaningful customer feedback to assist product development teams
* Champion CRM usage across the team, ensuring data integrity and consistent reporting
* Collaborate with internal teams — including Insight, Marketing, Finance and other business units — to deliver a cohesive customer experience
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in the FMCG sector and within a B2B sales or account management environment
* Strong track record of achieving commercial targets and managing subscription‑based services
* Excellent relationship‑building skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer challenges
Package
* £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary
