Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of roof‑mounted solar projects across live operational environments. This role will involve full responsibility for project planning, on‑site delivery, contractor management, health & safety compliance, and successful handover.
This is an excellent opportunity to support sustainability‑focused projects while working on technically challenging installations in occupied buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of roof‑mounted solar PV projects
Plan and coordinate works within live operational environments to minimise disruption
Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
Oversee programme, cost, quality, and H&S performance
Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety regulations and site standards
Coordinate access, permits, and sequencing of works
Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates
Identify and manage risks, issues, and change control
Ensure works are completed to specification and support project handoverEssential Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager
Demonstrable delivery of roof‑mounted solar installations
Strong experience working in live / operational environments
Excellent contractor and stakeholder management skills
Strong understanding of construction H&S requirements
Ability to manage programmes, deadlines, and site coordinationDesirable
Experience on public sector or occupied estate projects
Background in renewable energy, M&E, or building servicesInterested?
