Pre construction manager

***M&E background necessary

We are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager with a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to join a clients team and support the delivery of building projects in and around Manchester. In this role, you will manage the pre-construction phase, coordinating design, cost planning, and bid preparation to ensure projects are well planned, cost effective, and aligned with client requirements.

You will work Closely with estimators, design teams, and project managers to provide technical input, oversee project feasibility, and support the development of the project.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage Pre-Construction activities for high rise construction projects.
* Coordinate with design teams and consultants to review M&E systems, drawings, and specifications.
* Support the preparation of tender submissions and cost estimates.
* Assist in developing project strategies, risk assessments, and programmes.
* maintain clear and accurate records of pre-construction activities, costs, and communications.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-construction to project delivery.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Pre-Construction manager in construction.
2. Strong M&E knowledge with experience on building service's in high-rise or large scale projects.
