Dakota Hotels have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality revenue specialist to join our commercial team in a permanent role as Regional Revenue Manager.
This role will initially focus on implementing the revenue strategy for our three hotels in central Scotland for an expected period of 18 months. Following this, the remit will transition to cover Manchester Airport and additional new hotels as part of our continued expansion.
CONTRACT and LOCATION
This is a hybrid role, with up to two days working from home and the rest based in any of our three Dakota Hotel locations in Scotland: South Queensferry, Maxim Business Park near Motherwell off the M8, or Glasgow city centre.
The role offers a full-time contract with a gross annual salary of £45,000 with revenue target-based bonuses of up to an additional £1,500 per quarter.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute the revenue strategy set by the Director of Revenue, managing the revenue management system (RMS) to optimize REVPAR results and challenge system outcomes when necessary.
2. Develop and implement revenue yield management strategies across multiple hotels, expanding from three to at least eight within two years, including future new hotels.
3. Manage hotel and corporate pricing strategies, including rates, LOS restrictions, and other tactics to reflect demand and market conditions.
4. Forecast and react proactively to market trends to maximize revenue growth.
5. Develop and monitor KPIs, working closely with General Managers and Sales teams to achieve revenue goals.
6. Provide revenue forecasts and review hotel performance regularly via conference calls.
7. Oversee management of online sales platforms, ensuring effective management of OTAs and GDS, balancing visibility and commission costs.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in revenue management within Edinburgh and Glasgow hotel markets.
* Minimum 3 years’ hotel revenue management experience.
* Experience managing inventories of at least 300 bedrooms across multiple sites.
* Proven ability to develop sales and pricing strategies through analysis and reporting; a case study may be required.
* Strong technological acumen and experience with revenue systems.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills, proficient in Excel.
* Qualifications such as HOSPA certification or relevant degree are advantageous.
* Familiarity with digital platforms to maximize revenue.
* Willingness to work onsite at least three days per week, with up to two days remote.
* Self-driven, communicative, and positive individual.
* Legal right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available.
