The Role
We are recruiting a Trainee Sales Executive to join our team in Newport. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota, with weekend working required).
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £13.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus. Responsibilities
* Be the friendly face that welcomes customers to our store
* Support the vehicle collection process, ensuring all paperwork and procedures are completed accurately
* Proactively resolve customer issues and ensure a smooth, professional experience
* Contact customers to arrange or amend collection dates
* Spot opportunities to upsell products and services
* Complete the training programme covering product knowledge and sales techniques (typically twelve months, adjusted to progress and ability)
* Progress to a Sales Executive position upon successful completion of training requirements

Qualifications and Requirements
* A full UK driving licence (manual & automatic)
* Experience in a customer service role is highly beneficial
* Drive to build a career with Motorpoint
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Comfortable using IT systems, including Outlook and Excel
* A team player who goes the extra mile for customers
