As a Manufacturing Engineer Assembly & Integration, youll support unit and missile assembly manufacturing, working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions across multiple projects.

Youll be responsible for translating design intent into clear, repeatable manufacturing processes, ensuring products are delivered on time, within cost, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and maintaining detailed Manufacturing Instructions to ensure accuracy and clarity for production teams
* Designing, commissioning, and validating tooling and fixtures to support production processes
* Supporting industrial validation activities, including FMEA and First Article Inspection (FAI)
* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues encountered during manufacturing
* Updating route cards to reflect changes arising from rework activities
* Managing configuration control, incorporating design changes into manufacturing documentation
* Supporting the Non-Conformance process, including tracking and resolution using SAP
What do you need?:Qualification Requirements:You must meet one of the following qualification pathways:
* Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced / Level 3)
OR
* Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, Diploma or equivalent) AND
* Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ)
(NVQ not required where a Level 3 apprenticeship standard has been achieved)AND
* Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
These qualifications must meet the required standard to be considered for the role.
Skill Requirements:
* Ability to interpret design drawings and produce clear Manufacturing Build Instructions for skilled and semi skilled operators
* Proven experience in electronic sub assembly manufacturing, through to full system builds
* Hands on knowledge of assembly processes for small or miniature electro mechanical actuation systems
* Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively within a multi disciplinary environment
* Ability to understand and respond to customer and programme requirements
* Familiarity with working to company processes and procedures
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across multiple organisational levels
