Hours are offered on an as and when required basis. Salary £16.65 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance). You will be reporting to the Occupational Therapy Lead.
Position
Relief Occupational Therapy Technician, Occupational Therapy Service. Hours are offered on an as and when required basis. Salary £16.65 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance). You will be reporting to the Occupational Therapy Lead.
Responsibilities
* Deliver, install, and collect community equipment in service users\' homes.
* Carry out routine maintenance, safety checks, and minor repairs.
* Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and fit for purpose.
* Maintain accurate records using digital systems.
* Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and other health and care professionals.
Qualifications and Requirements
* SVQ2 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
* Excellent communication skills.
* At least 1 year\'s relevant experience in working with older people or those with disabilities.
* Full UK Driving Licence to drive medium and long wheelbase van.
* This post is a regulated role with adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
