Overview
This role will be on a temporary basis, with an anticipated end date of 31 July 2026.
* Acts as the onshore focal point for all matters electrical.
* Provides support to offshore installations for all electrical high and low voltage maintenance requirements.
* Makes cost effective decisions with regard to the repair and maintenance of installation equipment.
* Reviews planned maintenance routines to ensure equipment is maintained correctly whilst making most effective use of work force.
* Determines spares requirement for items of equipment.
* Raises modification requests, reviewing technical content of modification requests raised by offshore.
* Raises contract service orders (technical work scope) for vendors attending offshore.
* Reviews technical content of maintenance frame agreements.
* Assesses and issues authorisation certificates to offshore electrical personnel.
* Works in accordance with agreed performance standards, targets and goals.
* Actively contributes towards continuous improvement initiatives.
* Any other duties as may be required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Preferably chartered/incorporated engineer.
* Extensive relevant experience in electrical engineering.
* Experience in power generation and power distribution.
* Computer literacy for discipline calculations and document processing.
* Good understanding of technical issues and strong problem ‑ analysis skills.
* Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
* Experience with commissioning of electrical systems.
